Inner Landscape - Outer Body

The natural or industrial place, genius loci, usually sparks the creative process in my mind. The term 'landscapes' in photography defines traditionally a view without any human. I introduce the human as an equal element to hills, trees or any other spatial object. I often work with people who are close to me, as that way the interaction of two sets of mind becomes richer, while the stories are created at the moment. They do not have to be visible, yet they are there, in a gesture, posture, in a look. The outer conditions like weather and temperature add up a layer of physicality.

The presented images are maybe stories, maybe essays, maybe poems, maybe manuals for survival in the landscape of human experience or simply visual ‘haikus’.
